The AkAA through our membership with the International Congress of Zoo Keepers (ICZ) have been formally affiliated to The World Association of Zoos and Aquaria (WAZA). Thanks goes out to Paul Howse from Chester Zoo in England for making this link possible and may AkAA through this associative link create new and exciting opportunities.
THE SHAPE OF ENRICHMENT came to Town
In August and September, Valarie Hare came to visit South Africa. It was a perfect opportunity for you to meet her and to gain experience in the field of enrichment. Shape-Africa a branch of The Shape of Enrichment organized a couple of workshops around SA and will be back in future through SHAPE-Africa
