Yeah, I found that the keepers who attended the ICZ conference are all fine. But the Aquamarine Fukushima, which is one of member of WAZA, has gotten some damages, particularly the 1st floor by the Tsunami. So the electorical system has broken down. But the staff are now trying to recover it. The Yagiyama Zoo, which is located in Sendai, is fortunately not so damaged. But the feed for the captive animals are decreasing. So we are trying to support and provide the zoo with the feed for the animals.
Anyway we Japanese keepers never give up !
