Animal Keeper's Association of Africa

These two sweety pies are Black Cat and Peanut Butter.  They are two giant sleepy sharks (Nebrius ferrugineus) that live at uShaka Sea World.  They are currently being trained for target feeding.  They are doing very well.  This species of shark, like most sharks, is harmless to humans.  They are relatively sluggish.  The grow to just over 3.2 metres.  They are found on the East Coast of Southern Africa including Mozambique.  They are nocturnal animals.
