Animal Keeper's Association of Africa

Dear AKAA Members,

It is another year gone but one that many of us will remember such as with Africa’s first Soccer World Cup, which took us all and swept us into an adventure.  In 2010 AKAA had its first Ed4PAAZAB Symposium and established a strong and sound framework with our new and updated  website (thanks to AfroMedia) and membership drive.  

As such I do not wish to say any more than to urge all members to visit www.akaafrica.com and sign on.  Even if you have already paid, you have to log onto the website for us to support you all.  Sign up now and get the benefits owed to you as members. See more details in this newsletter.

2011 will bring many adventures, one of which is the next AKAA Conference at the Johannesburg Zoo South Africa.  Costs will be confirmed soon, but secure your travel arrangements for 4/5 & 6th October.
