The Animal Keepers Association of Africa's membership fees are as follows.
| New Membership | Renewal | |
| Associate membership | R150 or $16 per year | R100 or $12 per year |
| Professional membership | R250 or $26 per year | R150 or $16 per year |
| Patron membership | R2000 or $240 per year | (3 year contract) |
The AKAA has members heralding from countries such as; Uganda, Cameroon, DRC, Madagascar, South Africa, Botswana, Morocco and America with Valerie Hare as a Professional Member.
